From Disney to Designer Boutique

Jeannie White spent most of her childhood mastering the art of being a seamstress from her mother’s passion of being a designer for Disney World in
Florida. In an environment where dreams come true, she dreamed of one day becoming a designer herself and using her talents to touch the hearts of others. Her Daughter, Crystal Carman grew up in the family owned business environment. She then moved on to be a successful entrepreneur. In 2014 she open her first business A little Piece of Heaven, a gently used children’s clothing store. Although her passion was with the store, she sold it later due to a new addition to the family. Her youngest Elijah was born April 2015.

In August of 2015 Jeannine approached her daughter Crystal with a vision from God, calling her to London to attend one the of the Worlds Largest Bridal trade shows in Harrogate, England.  Unsure of what Gods big plan was the 2 ladies set off on a adventure. After hours of travel they had finally made it. Once inside the four story building, which seemed as large as several football fields, they gazed upon hundreds of bridal vendors from all over the world. After walking and visiting over a dozen rows of vendors Jeannie became very overwhelmed, and even wondered what she was doing there. As the two ladies frantically tried to decide whether or not they should leave, calling it a day or find a place to sit down an reevaluate is when fate intervened. The two ladies crossed paths with a delightful man by the name of Sonny. He began a conversation with them about their American accents and how he had traveled to the US as a young lad. His story was just enough to calm their spirit of feeling overwhelmed. The conversation took a fortuitous turn when he then explained that his wife was displaying her beautiful line of wedding, formal, prom and mother of the bride gowns. Standing right outside of her booth Sonny invited them to take a look.

In that moment Jeannie and Crystal were introduced to Gino Cerruti. This beautiful line of dresses were hand crafted after Jeannie own heart, they were made of 100% Italian silk lace. A rare find in the US. After spending nearly 4 hours in the GinoCerruti booth on their first day, they choose to come straight back that next day. Sonny and his wife Pinky welcomed them once again with open arms. It was several hours later signed up to be the exclusive American distributor of the GinoCerruti collection picking a plethora of unique bridal and prom/formals gowns to bring back to the USA.

Once the 2 women returned home to the US, they realized they had a lot to prepare for. With the shipment months out they began making arrangements. In March of 2016 The Kings Daughter Bridal Boutique and Formal Wear opened its doors to the public.  This cute and quite boutique now offers a EXCLUSIVE line of dress here in the USA for all formal occasions, helping local women remember they are royalty. One interested party was Tenacious Glam Cosmetics, hair and make-up specialists for weddings and special occasions. Tina, and the Tenacious Glam team has helped The Kings Daughter reach the community in many ways. Through them, Jennie and Crystal were introduced to Bianca Sylva, Miss Southeast Florida USA 2017. She went on to wear a gown from the GinoCerruti formal line as she competed in the 2017 Miss Florida USA pageant. The Kings Daughter would like Thank Tina and her team for all of their continued love and support.
